We were greeted at The AluaSoul Hotel with two glasses of bubbly and the flashing smiles of friendly hotel staff. AluaSoul has an air of luxury about it, which was a pleasant surprise given its affordable price point.
Surrounded by beautiful coves and turquoise waters, this 4-star adults only hotel is the perfect base for a couples retreat (or best friends, in our case). It boasts an outdoor pool and its very own private beach, Cala Egos.
The hotel rooms are clean, light and airy, much like the rest of the hotel. Once you’ve unpacked and are ready to go, there are plenty of options at your fingertips. Want to relax? Fully equipped with a steam room, sauna and whirlpool, their wellness area offers a range of treatment to help you unwind. Want to explore? Cala D’or (quite literally, the Golden Cove) is best known for its stunning coves and beaches, which are easy to get to from this centrally located hotel. Want to get wasted? AluaSoul has their own beachclub and a number of bars right on-site, so you can drunkenly stumble back to your swish hotel room with ease and minimal embarrassment.
It would be a crime to write an AluaSoul Hotel review without mentioning their MUST TRY 5 course dinner with a view. For just €19, we feasted on: Sea tartare with potato foam, Mushroom and truffle ravioli with a cheese sauce, Cream of pumpkin soup with a touch of ginger and scallops and Bluefin tuna with hints of lime. Dessert was a chef’s special, all washed down with complimentary prosecco.
AluaSoul is a great choice for those of you looking to relish in luxury and be boujee (on a budget). It was genuinely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a while, and I will definitely be staying there again!
